Our focus is on keeping your kitchen in a good place. It’s about getting you back up and running quickly when something goes wrong – with the fast response times, excellent service, ‘first-time fixes’ and competitive rates you need. And it’s about providing ongoing maintenance that can reduce the need for reactive callouts.


But should you need new equipment, we will give you unbiased advice. As repair and maintenance experts, we know commercial kitchens from top to bottom and inside out. Be it a pizza oven or a Bratt pan, chances are we have installed, repaired or maintained it. We’ll be happy to help you with the brand product and supplier information you need to make an informed decision based on your individual situation and budget.

Due to the growth of sales for Bartscher in the UK, we needed to expand our after-sales support. KFS Service with their network of engineers were our go-to company for this solution. In this ever-changing world, where rules and regulations change on what can sometimes seem a daily basis, you are in safe hands with KFS. Our engineers are informed and up to date with the training and equipment they need for the job. By being accredited to industry organisations we are fully aware of our duties and responsibilities to you, ourselves and the environment.


As a member of Gas Safe we receive regular updates to good practice, changes to the regulations we work within and insights into new technologies and efficiencies.


When working on construction sites we make sure we are equipped with the correct PPE and are CITB accredited to the CSCS schemes.



Communicative


Communication is a vital aspect of the service we provide our customers. We make every effort to “say what we do, do what we say” – and guarantee that if we’re unavoidably delayed in getting to you, we will contact you to explain, arrange to attend later or reschedule.

We know that in a busy commercial kitchen, it is so much better for you to hear “it’s fixed” than to hear what part is required and how long it will take to arrive. That’s what our “It's fixed, Chef” ethos is about –fixing first where possible and always at competitive rates.


We carry some universal spare parts for gas equipment and commonly-needed electrical parts in our vans. We also build up customer-specific parts as we get to know your equipment. We’ll encourage you to hold parts on site that your equipment seems to regularly require, or add them to our van stock as part of our commitment to first time fix rates and efficiency.

Reactive service and repair to gas and electric commercial
catering equipment and plumbing


 We aim to attend to your reactive needs by appointment within 24-48hrs. Calls are attended between the hours of 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Earlier, later and weekend calls are possible, depending on availability. Let us know your situation and what you need and we will do our best to help.


All our engineers are electrically competent and are Gas Safe accredited. Our work is guaranteed together with individual manufacturer's parts guarantees.



Maintenance contracts & agreements


It's been proven that Planned Preventative Maintenance or PPM visits reduce the need for reactive visits. Customers taking the KFS PPM option enjoy peace of mind over the reliability and safety aspects of their equipment – together with reduced reactive rates, discounted spare parts and in some cases quicker response times.


Our engineers will identify any parts deemed to be in need of replacement and will calibrate where necessary. They will gas test and issue the appropriate paperwork to support your duty of care.



INSTALLATION


 Be it a single range oven or a full cooking suite, whatever it is, we can install it for you. We’ll take your project through from delivery to commissioning and connecting everything up – dealing with any logistics such as moving, lifting or welding. We are highly experienced in the installation of induction cooking equipment, a ‘greener’ technology that is growing in use across the industry.
